The Indian Society for Heat and Mass Transfer (ISHMT) has been acting as a nodal agency stimulating research by conducting conferences once in two years in different parts of India since its inception in 1971. The next in this series (20th National and 9th ISHMT-ASME Heat and Mass Transfer conference) is being held at NUCLEAR POWER CORPORATION OF INDIA LTD in Anushakthi Nagar, Mumbai in January 2010.
