Some of the Memorable
Experiences in My Life
- Working
under the supervision of Professor Prem Vrat for the Ph.D degree at
IIT Delhi {Prof.Prem Vrat is now the Director of IIT Roorkee, the first
ever IE & OR faculty to become the director of an IIT}
- Joining
the faculty of IIT Bombay in 1981(now I look back with great satisfaction)
- Working
with Prof.VTD Balaraman(Late) who initiated me to Industrial
Engineering ( VTDB was the CEO of PAM Consultants and later a faculty
member at IIM Bangalore)
- Working
in Ennore Thermal Project during the initial stages of the project
- Creating
CARE at IIT Bombay
- Working
closely with Prof. S. Somasundaram (Late) at IIT Bombay (1981-93).
- Working
closely with Prof. A.P Kudchadker (Deputy Director,IITB) in connection
with coordinating TQM/KAIZEN activities in IIT Bombay (1991-93) and
estabilishing School Of Management in IIT Bombay
