MY ACADEMICS
My academic career was not exceptionally jubilant but I have always been in the better students of my class.
I did my primary schooling from Huddard High School, Kanpur. The school was accredited by ICSE. The school was within walking distance from my home and we guys use to generally run to the school.
Then I moved on to O.E.F. Inter College, Kanpur where I studied till 10th Standard(75.4%). The college was accredited by CBSE. This was the most fabulous time of my life, I did everything one could do as a kid. Most of my friends are a gift of this school.
Later on I joined B.N.S.D. College, Kanpur where I studied till 12th standard(76.8%). The college was accredited by Uttar Pradesh Board. This college is probably the biggest pre-university school in India in terms of student strength. I passed from this college with distinctions in Physics, Chemistry and Maths...overall science aggregate was 84%.
Then, I wrote JEE and got selected in it. I got the honor of studying Mechanical Engineering at IIT Bombay, India. Needless to mention that IITs are worlds top notch institutions imparting technological education in various disciplines.
I m right now a final year student with specialization in Computer Aided Design and Automation.
My final year project (Dual Degree Project) is in the field of Textile Machinery Design under the guidance of Prof. Anirban Guha of Mechanical Engineering Department, IIT Bombay, India. The project is aimed at developing a novel energy saving device for shuttle looms. It is imperative to state that shuttle looms are still the most widely used type of looms in indian textile industries. I am really very enthusiastic towards this project. I hope by the end of the project we'll be able to put a working design with significant energy cutdown for industial use.
