This is flagship product of RM lab with 20+ years of hardwork involved. This machine is capable of manufacturing component by additive and subtractive approach. This machine has multiple station for pre-heating, deposition, machining, inspection and also for pneumatic hammer. This is almost at the final stage to produce the first component.








“Electron Beam Additive Manufacturing”

Electron Beam Additive Manufacturing (EBAM) is an emerging AM technology for metals. Among other energy sources like Arc, Laser, Ultrasonic energy, and friction energy, Electron Beam has several advantages such as high scanning speed, energy efficiency, versatile with several materials and better part integrity due to vacuum working environment. These advantages are the reasons for its scope for metal Additive Manufacturing. We are indigenously developing three systems for EBAM: 1. Powder-bed sintering (EBAM-P), 2.Wire-cladding (EBAM-W), 3. Laminating sheets (EBAM-S).








“Segmented Object Manufacturing Machine”

Segmented Object Manufacturing machine is a hybrid foam 3D printer, which convert the foam block into the shape using series of milling, slicing and gluing operations. It has unique slicing approach called visible slicing. The applications of Foam 3D printer in foam foundry, for sculptures, prototypes etc.










“Sand 3D Printer”

The prime objective is to achieve pattern-less casting. The resin coated sand is selectively sintered using CO2 laser to produce sand molds for casting without making pattern.












“ICE 3D Printer”

Ice 3D printer prints water in layered fashion, which solidifies to give a 3D model of ice. The application of ice 3D printing is in Investment Casting where ice models are used as patterns instead of wax.











“FDM Printer by Stratasys”

Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM), is commercial 3D printer by Stratasys for printing component with thermoplastic material generally used for prototyping purpose.













“3 Axis CNC Router”

This 3 axis machine has the capability to make micro component with TIG setup followed by machining.












“Drilling Machine”

Drilling machine by Shakti Machine Tool is used for making holes from smaller to larger size for internal lab work.












“Toolmaker Microscope”

Toolmaker microscope by Olympus is used to find the dimensions of the components and also to study the microstructure of the samples.
