• OptiLOM – an optional module of Magics RP software of Materialise NV, Belgium was copyrighted in 2002. This is being marketed by them since then.
• The patent for Segmented Object Manufacturing (SOM), a new RP process has been provisionally approved in India (1076/MUM/2004).
